My wife and I are currently on a three month extended trip in Britain and Europe. Apart from visiting our family and Grandchildren in Dorset England, I also love to photograph the English countryside. The spring-time here is always wonderful and this year is no exception! A valley I love but have not really photographed to any great extent is the Cerne valley in north Dorset. I plan to really work the landscape here in this valley on a few more occasions when I can. The villages of Mintern Magna and Upcerne are so lovely and the surrounding countryside is quite special and the manor house in Mintern village itself has a vast private garden which you can walk through based on Himalayan plants and trees. It also features water quite predominantly.
